Meet as usual at Dan Murphys Bar , Sneem at 10am or at Atlantic Bar , Kenmare at 10.30am. Travel to Ardgroom and take local road to Glenbeg Lough . Park there and begin climb of Tooreennamna and Eskatarriff mountains ( approx 600 m) . Complete half circuit over Glenbeg Lough before descending. Return to cars by road after descending (approx 2 miles). Note ground is very rough so proper footwear and clothing required . Also walking poles advisable.

Meeting point for these walks (unless otherwise noted) is outside Dan Murphy’s Bar in Sneem at 10AM. Please ensure that you are registered on the Sneem Walking Club’s Whatsapp Group for updates. Please note that dogs are not allowed on our walks, as we walk on privately owned land with the kind permission of the owners / farmers.
